A Bit of Background
Welcome to Severn Vale Bowls Club. We are a very friendly mixed bowling club for all age groups. We invite the general community in, to encourage new bowling members. We offer free coaching and provide equipment such as bowls for those interested.
Outdoor bowls season usually runs from 1st April to 31st September.
We play mixed friendly matches against other clubs, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday
afternoons. We have a men’s league team who play on Thursday and a Ladies League team who play on Wednesday/Friday. Also, a triples team who play on Friday.
During the winter months we play short mat bowls, we have an inter club league which everyone enjoys.
We also have in addition to our Club nights on Tuesdays, dances, quizzes, parties etc. our facilities can be booked on site when the club is in residence or through the local contacts as listed.
Our clubhouse has wheelchair access and level access to toilet & changing room facilities.
We have some reserved parking spaces in our private car park, situated nearest to the clubhouse for wheelchair users.
SEVERN VALE BOWLS CLUB's aim is to provide a friendly welcoming place. We provide free coaching, creating opportunities for individuals in the local community.
